Grand Opening Weekend officially kicked off on September 26, welcoming guests through the gates for the first time.
The weekend was filled with rides, laughter, celebrations, and plenty of first-time experiences as guests explored the park and took on some of COTALAND’s biggest attractions.
Whether guests came looking for their next adrenaline rush or a fun day out with family and friends, there was something to discover throughout the park.
Thrills for Every Kind of Rider
One of COTALAND’s biggest draws is its collection of rides and attractions.
For thrill-seekers, the park features high-energy experiences, including Circuit Breaker, a Texas-only tilt coaster; Palindrome, an Infinity Shuttle Coaster; and Down Force, which reaches 230 feet and speeds of up to 70 mph.
But the fun doesn’t stop with the biggest coasters.
Guests can also experience attractions including Soggy Logger, Safari Adventure, Cloud Flyer, Accelerator, Spin Out, Mission Blasters, Victory Wheel, and more.

The Perfect Hug Welcomes Guests to COTALAND
One of the most meaningful parts of the COTALAND experience is waiting right at the entrance.
“Perfect Hug,” a 15-foot bronze sculpture created by artist Kai, welcomes guests as they enter and leave the park.
The sculpture was inspired by a simple moment between Kai and his sister and became a much larger artistic journey from sketches and digital models to physical modeling, engineering, fabrication, and the final bronze sculpture.
The finished piece now has a permanent home at COTALAND, giving guests another story to discover during their visit.
